2. What data we process, and why

Visiting the site

Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data for every visit (IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, date and time, and the amount of data transferred). This happens for every website and is required to deliver the page to your browser and to keep the site secure. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical operation and security of our website).

Contact form

When you use the contact form, we process the name, email address, office selection and message you provide, in order to handle and respond to your enquiry and to prevent misuse and fraud attempts. We use services provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to transmit your enquiry by email. AWS processes the data required for this purpose on our behalf, further information is available in the AWS EU Data Protection pages. The information is also temporarily stored in our database. The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling incoming enquiries and protecting our systems against misuse and fraud attempts pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data stored in our contact-form database is deleted regularly and, in any event, within one month, unless longer storage is necessary in order to handle your enquiry or to comply with statutory retention obligations.

Email and telephone contact

If you contact us directly by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of the message) solely to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
